Wedding at Pueblo Acantilado – Stacey & Mike

Sep 30, 2023

There are weddings… and then there’s a wedding at Pueblo Acantilado. Stacey & Mike brought their people to the cliffs of El Campello for a day full of sun, tattoos, dried flowers, funky beats, and Mediterranean magic.

A Magical Wedding at Pueblo Acantilado by the Sea

Perched dramatically over the sea in El Campello, Costa Blanca, Pueblo Acantilado isn’t just a venue – it’s an entire Mediterranean-style village turned into a hotel. Whitewashed facades, cobbled streets, endless views of the horizon… and that amphitheater carved into the cliffs where ceremonies feel almost cinematic. With 4-star facilities, pools, restaurants, and over 100 rooms for guests to stay, it’s the kind of place where tranquillity meets fiesta. In short: a dream location for couples who want their wedding to feel both intimate and epic.

Heat, Buses & Shirtless Guests – The Arrival Vibe

The buses rolled in packed with guests, some already shirtless thanks to the Spanish summer heat. Everyone came with one clear goal: celebrate love in style.

Tattoos, Tears & a Dried Flower Bouquet – The Preparations

Stacey got ready with her best friend and bridesmaids. Blonde, with a natural glow, tattoos that tell stories, and a bouquet of dried flowers that looked both boho and rock’n’roll. Her lace gown hugged her silhouette perfectly, and when she smiled, the whole room lit up. Her maid of honor was so emotional she nearly ruined her mascara before Stacey even had her veil on.

Mike, on the other hand, nailed the “Mediterranean groom” look: beige vest, white shirt and shorts. Yes, shorts — because when it’s over 30ºC, style means also surviving the heat. Tattoos on display, confident smile, he was clearly ready to say “I do.”

Saying “I Do” at the Pueblo Acantilado Coliseum

The amphitheater of Pueblo Acantilado is a showstopper: Roman vibes, sea views, and that dramatic entrance down the stone staircase. Stacey arrived on her father’s arm, veil floating in the breeze, while Mike waited with that mix of nerves and joy every groom knows. Totaca & Fuga’s live music set the soundtrack for a goosebump moment as vows were exchanged.

Squad Goals – Group Shots with Style

After the ceremony, it was time for the iconic group portraits:

  • The girls, all in soft nude tones, abanicos in hand, striking elegant but fun poses. Stacey right in the center, glowing.
  • The guys, rocking white shirts, shorts, and ties. A little chaotic, very cheeky, and perfectly them. Laughter everywhere and that pose that says: “we came to party.”

Just the Two of Us – Couple Session by the Sea

Before cocktail, we stole ten minutes with the couple in one of the suites. The big wooden windows opened to the sea breeze, Stacey’s dress flowing across the wooden floor, Mike holding her hands. Just them, stripped of noise, laughing, sharing glances, completely in sync.

Shade, Tapas & Toasts – Cocktail and Dinner

Cocktail hour took place under the shade of Pueblo Acantilado’s charming little streets. Drinks clinked, tapas disappeared fast, and relief was shared under the sombraje. Inside the restaurant (yes, with air conditioning – absolute lifesaver), family and friends gave speeches that had everyone alternating between tears and belly laughs. Toasts were raised with views of the Mediterranean as backdrop.

Stacey’s Mom Has Got It Going On – The Party

Once dinner wrapped up, DJ Chris turned the energy up. House and funky tracks filled the room, and no one was left seated. And then came the absolute madness: “Stacey’s Mom” blasted through the speakers, and the place erupted. Stacey’s friends screamed every lyric, and her mum herself owned the dance floor like a rockstar – everyone lost it. Drinks in the air, ties on heads, heels long forgotten. A proper Mediterranean wedding rave.

Why This Wedding at Pueblo Acantilado Was Unforgettable

As a wedding photographer in Alicante, this was exactly the kind of day I love to capture: raw emotion, sunburnt chaos, tenderness, and people being unapologetically themselves. Stacey & Mike’s wedding at Pueblo Acantilado was proof that weddings can be stylish, emotional, and just the right amount of punk.
