As a destination wedding photographer in Alicante Costa Blanca, I’ve been capturing weddings for over a decade for couples from the UK, Ireland, and across Europe who come to say “I do” under the Spanish sun. If you’re looking for clear answers, peace of mind, and a photographer who blends experience with a relaxed, natural style — keep reading.
1. Availability & Booking with Your Destination Wedding Photographer in Alicante Costa Blanca
How do we secure our date?
Easy: with 25% of the total package. That’s your key to locking in my calendar so no one else can take your date.
When and how should we pay the deposit?
As soon as you’ve booked your venue and confirmed the date. Don’t wait for “next week” — I’ve had couples call me heartbroken because, while they were thinking, another couple booked their day.
What if we change the date or cancel?
If you change the date, your 25% deposit moves to the new one (subject to my availability). If you cancel, it’s non-refundable. As a goodwill gesture, I offer a couple’s session during one of your future visits to Spain.
When do we pay the rest?
Split into four easy parts:
- 25% to reserve the date
- 25% one month before the wedding
- 25% the week of the wedding
- 25% upon delivery of the final work
This way, you avoid paying large sums too far in advance and minimise risks if there are last-minute changes.
2. Coverage – What to Expect from Your Destination Wedding Photographer in Alicante Costa Blanca
Will you personally be there on the wedding day?
Always. I don’t send a random “team” you’ve never met. If something serious stopped me, I have trusted colleagues who would cover your day in my style and under my conditions.
How many hours do you cover?
From getting ready (around 3h before ceremony) until 30–40 min after the first dance. If you want me longer, we arrange it in advance.
Do you work alone or with a team?
It depends on the type of wedding.
For intimate weddings, I usually work on my own to keep things simple and unobtrusive.
With video, I work alongside a dedicated videographer to ensure a consistent style and smooth coverage.
For larger weddings — especially those with 100+ guests, multiple locations (like separate preparations), or a strong focus on guest experience and party — I highly recommend working with two photographers.
This allows the day to be covered from different perspectives at the same time, without interruptions or rushed moments, ensuring nothing important is missed.
Most destination weddings in Alicante and Costa Blanca fall into this category, so working as a team is often the best way to achieve a complete and natural story of your day.

3. Delivery & Timelines
How many photos do you deliver?
10–15 preview images within 24/48h. Full gallery in 2 weeks. Videos delivered within 2 months, even in high season.
Do you include an album?
Optional. You choose the images, I design it, you approve before printing, and it’s shipped to your country. See example album.
4. Experience & Style – Why Choose Me
What ceremonies have you covered?
Everything: civil estates, churches, beach elopements, vineyards… if you can say “yes” there, I’ve probably been.
Your style?
Emotional photojournalism: real moments, natural colours, cinematic touch.
Do you accept a shot list?
Yes — and I recommend it. Once, a bride asked me for “a photo with my grandmother on the dance floor wearing heart-shaped sunglasses”… it became the family favourite.
5. Logistics & Locations Across Alicante and Costa Blanca
Do you know the best photo spots?
Yes. Light matters more than place. Some favourite venues:
- Santa Bárbara Castle
- Marqués de Montemolar
- Villa Gadea Hotel
- La Finca Resort
- Occidental Pueblo Acantilado
- Casa Santonja
Can we meet beforehand?
Absolutely. Video call or in person (my studio is 2 km from Alicante Airport). Contact me on WhatsApp.
6. Extras & Pricing
Can we hire only photos or only video?
Yes, but I recommend booking both with the same team for seamless style.
Do you charge travel within Costa Blanca?
Within Alicante: included. Premium package also covers Valencia and Murcia.
Do you offer drone shots?
Yes, if allowed by venue, regulations, and weather.
