Choosing Finca Marqués de Montemolar for their destination wedding was an easy decision. They didn’t just pick a venue. They went for one of Spain’s most exclusive spots: panoramic sea views, historic architecture and that elegant touch that turns a wedding into something truly unforgettable.
Getting ready: cava, laughter and a father–daughter first look
The day started with cava and laughter, bridesmaids in a designer-like room, and Charlotte slipping into her dress. But the real highlight? That first look with her dad — pride, emotion, and a hug that set the tone for the whole day.
Reception and Groom’s Arrival
While Charlotte prepared, guests arrived via the Cypress Path, a corner decorated with warm lights and crystal lamps that created a cozy and elegant atmosphere. In the background, the sound of a Scottish bagpipe marked the occasion. Shortly after, Martin arrived, greeting excitedly the family and friends who had traveled from afar to be part of this special day.
Destination wedding at Finca Marqués de Montemolar: the ceremony
From the top of Montemolar’s Mirador, with Altea’s bay as backdrop, guests watched Charlotte walk down the aisle with her father. Martin was waiting, best men in kilts by his side, nervous but smiling.
They hugged before even starting, exchanged glances all through the vows, and the rings arrived in style — carried by Charlotte’s brother and the couple’s dog. The vows had everyone in tears, but laughter soon followed with a unity ritual and a shared drink. And finally, rice, cheers and a dog leading the way out.
Couple’s Session: A Moment Just for Them
After the ceremony, Charlotte and Martin enjoyed a moment of relaxation at the Mirador de la Marquesa, a magical spot where they could unwind and share their impressions. We captured intimate photos that reflected their connection. This small break gave them the necessary time before heading to the cocktail reception, where they were warmly greeted by their guests with a big cheer.
Cocktail, lights and an Irish-style dinner
Charlotte & Martin greeted their guests from the balcony of the finca, royal style. Down below, cocktails flowed, mini burgers were served and fairy lights and chandeliers set the mood.
Dinner was held inside a grand marquee with long tables decorated section by section. The entrance? Anything but quiet: a violinist on fire and dance beats to kick things off.
And then came the speeches — the heart of every Irish and British wedding. Father of the bride, best man, friends… each one finishing with a toast that filled the tent with laughter and applause. No cake needed; the energy was already sky high.
The Party & La Hora Loca
At night the finca turned into a dream. The patio lit up in purple tones, disco balls overhead, and Charlotte & Martin opened the dance floor. A father–daughter dance followed, and then it was all-in: cocktails in hand, a live saxophonist and a mix of house, dance and disco classics.
And then came La Hora Loca — masks, neon lights, mirror costumes and even a limbo challenge. Pure madness, pure fun. The night ended with the illuminated cypress path, the façade glowing and a full moon above.
